Home Security Checks
A Crime Prevention Specialist will perform a detailed security analysis of the interior and exterior of your home and personal safety habits. You will be provided with a list of suggestions for improving the vulnerable areas in and around your home.
Vacation Patrol Checks
Deputies will provide patrol checks of your home while you are away on vacation or business. Please contact Laguna Hills Police Services several days prior to your travel date to arrange your request.
Experienced law enforcement personnel are available for presentations on crime related topics including: personal safety, home security, vehicle security, identity theft, child and teen safety, school safety, senior safety, internet safety and emergency preparedness.
The Explorer Post 449 program provides young adults (age 14-10) with the opportunity to assist the Orange County Sheriff's Department in Laguna Hills. Through weekly meetings, Explorers can broaden their knowledge and learn firsthand about the challenges and rewards of a career in law enforcement. Explorers receive training in a variety of topics including leadership, patrol procedures, first-aid, and laws of arrest. They also participate in ride-alongs with patrol officers, and annual Explorer academy regional and national competitions. Participants have numerous opportunities to give back to the community through this service volunteer program. The Sheriff's Blotter enables residents to know what activity is occurring in their communities. Both 7 day and 30 day views are available to view.
The Crime Statistics feature allows the user to search crime by area, which includes city or street.
