Within the City boundaries of Laguna Hills, the following trails are available for pedestrian, bicycle, and equestrian use.
This paved trail begins near the corner of Moulton Parkway and Alicia Parkway and continues north-east towards the Laguna Hills Community Center. Passing the Community Center, the trail follows next to Paseo De Valencia and turns west along Laguna Hills Drive.
Aliso Creek Trail
Maintained by the County of Orange, this Federally designated national recreation trail extends from Aliso and Wood Canyons Wilderness Park to Whiting Ranch Wilderness Park, passing through Sheep Hills Park along Laguna Hills Drive to Paseo De Valencia. Before reaching Los Alisos Boulevard, the trail enters an open space area and the site of the Juan Avila Adobe. The trail exits the City by passing east under the freeway.
Aliso Creek Access Trail
Beginning at Alicia Parkway near the Interstate 5 freeway, this paved trail connects to the County of Orange's Aliso Creek Trail which extends from Aliso and Wood Canyons Wilderness Park to Whiting Ranch Wilderness Park.
This County of Orange maintained dirt trail runs between Paseo De Valencia and the City's Aliso Creek Access Trail. It passes by the site of the only adobe building that Juan Avila built on what is now known as Laguna Hills.
